Grand Haven Waterfront Homes…sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets.
Grand Haven, MI is home to some of the finest real estate in the country, and with the advantage of the surrounding beauty of the area, residents are blessed with a quality of life second to none.
Set just a short drive from the bustling city of Grand Rapids, MI, a major hub for jobs and home to Gerald R, Ford International Airport lies the coastal town of Grand Haven. A popular destination for vacationers from throughout the country looking to take in a little of our freshwater sea. Although a vacation destination, Grand Haven is home to a large year round population, and boasts some of the finest waterfront real estate in the country.
Connected to the town of Spring Lake, which provides a home for boating enthusiasts, and connects to Lake Michigan via the channel separating north and south portions of Grand Haven. Homes on Spring Lake range from $500,000 to $5,000,000+. Luxurious estates to quaint cottages, and everything in between.

On the north side of the channel is North Shore Dr., popular for its low bluffs and beautiful beaches where one could walk for miles. Waterfront homes on North Shore Dr. range from $1,000,000 on up, as the popularity of the area has drawn buyers to the area, and with it the transformation of once old cottages to some pretty amazing homes to match the land they sit on.

South of the channel is Grand Haven’s downtown and Harbor Dr, which abuts the Grand Haven State Park. No true waterfront options along this stretch, but several neighborhoods have access to the beach. As you go just south of that stretch, private beaches dot the coastline, with a variety of lower and high bluff properties, offering different perspectives of water and sunset views. Prices range anywhere from $850,000 up to $10,000,000 depending on the property and home.
Although Lake Michigan waterfront owners are unable to install a dock in front of their homes, like you would on Spring Lake, there are several marinas nearby to park their vessels.
Always included in lists for “best of’s,” Grand Haven really has something for everyone, and should not be missed in your next real estate search.
